** There is now a new ALARM at the club house - there is a keypad - if you need the code please contact one of the committee for the code. **
The club is situated in the village of Sandbank on the east side of the Holy Loch adjacent to Holy Loch Marina a couple of miles from Dunoon on the A885.
The Holy Loch scenery is simply stunning and courses are set to accommodate a variety of conditions. The sheltered moorings and slip allow racing in everything from the very calm to the thoroughly brisk.
HLSC runs RYA recognised training for juniors. Series racing takes place on Wednesday evenings throughout the summer. One off trophy races are held on some Sunday afternoons and the prestigious GTI Regatta takes place over the second weekend in September each year.
Many members choose to cruise and the club holds a number of social functions over the year. The club is administered by a committee and work is all done on a voluntary basis.
There is a dinghy park and a locked 'cage' for storage of inflatables and the club administers the Crown Estate mooring license scheme.
Fees are on a simple menu basis for juniors, adults, families, racing, boat storage and mooring.
The club welcomes new members be they novice or expert and whether boat owner or not. If you would like to find out more please fill in the form on the
contact us page. Alternatively you can download a membership application form by clicking
