About

The club is situated in the village of Sandbank on the South West side of the Holy Loch adjacent to Holy Loch Marina a couple of miles from Dunoon on the A885. The Holy Loch scenery is simply stunning and new members are very welcome.

HLSC runs RYA recognised training for juniors and invites adults to come and have a go at sailing - see our events page.

Activities

Holy Loch Sailing Club is about having fun on the water.  We have active racing, cruising, and cadet fleets.  The most enthusiastic manage all three.  And we shouldn't forget the social events organised through the season and occasionally the off-season.

Learning The Ropes

Training future generations

HLSC runs RYA recognised training for juniors.  Cadets learn the ropes in small groups in a Wayfarer before going solo in our fleet of Toppers.  The more experienced will move on to Laser 3000s.  Cadet Training as it is known happens on a Thursday evening.  If interested come along to the club and take a look, we don't bite, we promise.
