Count Down to Polaris

A huge thank you to everyone who came down last week to get the club ready for the Polaris Regatta – jet washing the slip, gardening, tidying, cleaning, and making space in the boat park. You all worked so hard and definitely earned those sausage rolls and cakes!  Big shout-out to Stuart Brown for organising the day .

 Next job: putting up the sun/rain canopy on Thursday 11th at 7pm – extra hands always welcome!

 We’re also on the lookout for home baking for the Polaris weekend – cakes, traybakes, biscuits… they always go down a treat.

 Plus, we’re running a Skiff Project fundraiser with a bottle stall – donations of wine, spirits, soft drinks, perfume, bubble bath etc. would be amazing.

 And finally, if you’re planning on sailing but haven’t entered yet, please do so ASAP – it really helps with catering and organisation.
